Home-Start Newry and Mourne supports families in the local community who have at least one child under 5 and are experiencing difficulties such as post-natal illness, isolation, bereavement, disability, pareting alone, relationship difficulties and much more. Most support is carried out by our carefully trained, home-visiting parent volunteers who being friendship, practical and emotional support to families. We also have a Parenting Support Worker who provides intensive support to families in their own homes and we run 2 Family Groups in Newry and Kilkeel giving parents and children opportunities to socialise and learn.
