Don’t try to manage your or someone else’s suicidal thoughts on your own. Remember, thoughts about suicide are just that – thoughts. They won’t last forever and often they pass quickly. Many people who have had serious thoughts about suicide have said that they feel completely different only hours later.

WAVE provides support services for those who have been bereaved, injured or traumatised as a result of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. This also includes intimidation.
We provide one to one support, peer group support, counselling, complementary therapies, advice and advocacy and youth and childrens support services.  We also have a comprehenssive training programme in trauma studies ranging from basic to degree level.

Befriending and counselling for people who are victims of violence or who have been bereaved due to the Northern Ireland Troubles.
