Don’t try to manage your or someone else’s suicidal thoughts on your own. Remember, thoughts about suicide are just that – thoughts. They won’t last forever and often they pass quickly. Many people who have had serious thoughts about suicide have said that they feel completely different only hours later.

The Koram Centre is a registered charity which provides counselling, psychotherapy, psycho-social support and complementary therapy.

We offer a confidential and professional service in a safe environment, working with individuals, groups and families. Our aim is to promote emotional well being and good mental health by offering our clients a service which is best suited to their individual needs. We provide treatment/interventions using a number of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Person Centred, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Integrative Therapy. We also offer addiction counselling and have a clinical psychologist and a counsellor who specialises in learning disabilities working as part of our team.

The Koram Centre is a BACP accredited counselling and psychotherapy service, all our counsellors and therapists are registered with professional recognised bodies.
